Iran issues demands to reopen Strait of Hormuz

Iran's top security body has warned that the Strait of Hormuz will not open until the United States accepts six demands from Tehran, including easing sanctions, paying war reparations and ending the blockade of Iranian ports. Despite this, Iran and Oman have described their talks on new arrangements for the waterway as “positive and constructive”. Also in the programme: Israel accused of weaponising archaeology at ancient West Bank sites; a Ukrainian singer on preserving folk songs of her homeland and promoting Ukrainian culture; and World football's governing body, Fifa, has issued a defiant statement denouncing what it called a "concerted and ongoing effort" to undermine its beleaguered president, Gianni Infantino.
