Donald Trump unhurt after shots fired in Washington DC

Weekend

Available for 29 days

Donald Trump has described the US presidency as one of the most dangerous professions in the world after an attempted gun attack forced his evacuation from the White House Correspondents dinner in Washington. It was the third shooting or attempted shooting to have taken place around Mr Trump in recent years. Also in the programme: a royal visit to America; and a new exhibition inspired by the environmental degradation of the Aral Sea. Presenter Paul Henley is joined by Nitasha Kaul, professor of politics, international relations and critical interdisciplinary studies at the University of Westminster, and Christopher De Bellaigue, UK-based author, journalist and literary festival organiser.
