Social media saves shoe shop from closure

A family-owned shop in Shoreditch which was weeks from closure has been saved after going viral on TikTok. ⁣ ⁣ Owner Rachid Lazraq of The Rich Collection Bella Italia said he was struggling to keep his wholesale shop open after more than 30 years due to falling trade. ⁣ ⁣ However, after a French tourist posted his shoes and bag collections on TikTok, his daughter decided to start posting from the shop and now long queues form daily, and the 'closing down' sign has been removed.
