A scouse twist of genius

Available for over a year

Now, how many of you remember the iconic Rubik's Cube? It was all about matching the same-coloured squares across 6 sides of a cube, and as you'll hear now, it caused a bit of a stir. Local artist Fai McCabe has taken her appreciation of the pop culture icon to another level. Fai is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, and chess teacher from Liverpool who has pioneered the "Rubik's Cubism" movement. She painstakingly creates pieces of art from hundreds of Rubik's Cube squares and has produced work depicting John Lennon and the Liver Building amongst many others. She even won the Critics Award in Milan last year.
