Keeping Yorkshire’s stone walls standing

Make a Difference: Leeds

Available for over a year

National Volunteers Week celebrates the people shaping communities across the UK. We’re spending some time with just a few of those making a difference in West Yorkshire. Yorkshire Wildlife Trust volunteers are rebuilding dry stone walls, preserving local landscapes and providing shelter for wildlife. Without their effort, repair costs would be too high, risking loss of heritage and habitats across the region.
