Hart has been treated fairly by Guardiola – Lawrenson

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Mark Lawrenson has no issue with the way new Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has treated goalkeeper Joe Hart. England international Hart, who has been told he can leave the club, made his first appearance of the season as City reached the Champions League with a 6-0 aggregate win over Steaua Bucharest on Wednesday. Former Liverpool defender Lawrenson says Guardiola has simply been honest with Hart by telling him he is "third choice", and that straight talking is "all you can ask for as a player". This clip was first broadcast on 5 live Sport, Wednesday 24 August 2016.
