108. A Vicar Advises Alan

Available for over a year

An actor, a vicar and a teacher walk into a bar (well, a studio) to explore Revd Alan Franks' latest predicament. Julian Worricker is joined by John Telfer, who plays Alan; Nell Frizzell, a journalist and trainee teacher; and Revd Alix Taylor, a Suffolk-based rector. Nell explores why Keira may be avoiding school, and what sort of issues this could create for her in future. And in the week that Alan is visited by the Archdeacon, Alix explains just how much trouble the vicar of Ambridge is in. John Telfer reacts to one cast member's suggestion that Alan may be guilty of defrauding Carol Tregorran after all. As the villagers are clearing up all the post-storm windfalls in the community orchard, Julian tests his guests' knowledge of cider in Ambridge.
