Fat Freddy’s Drop Trunk of Funk

Available for 28 days

Fat Freddy’s Drop bring the groove to this week’s Trunk of Funk as they tour the UK. The Wellington collective have been cooking up their own heady mix of funk, soul, reggae and dub for over 25 years. Saxophonist Scott Towers (aka Chopper Reeds) and Mark Williams dig through the crates, taking us from sweet Philly soul to heavyweight Afrobeat with some home-grown Kiwi grooves along the way. Expect a seriously funky Saturday night session as Fat Freddy’s Drop serve up a very special Trunk of Funk.
