How should we care for older people in Wales? Speaking with the First Minister – Rhun ap Iorwerth – on yesterday’s Phone In, caller Susan in Swansea sparked a conversation about the future of social care. The First Minister said that social care improvements would not be paid for by raising taxes. But he didn’t rule out introducing a levy, to help support our ageing society. Is it time for the people of Wales to reclaim the title of Prince of Wales? Actor Michael Sheen thinks so. He said that the title, currently held by Prince William, "symbolises something that was essentially a put-down to Wales". The Hollywood actor was speaking ahead of his forthcoming portrayal of Owain Glyndŵr, the last Welsh-born Prince of Wales, in a new theatre production at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
