Jason Mohammad with Tuesday's Phone In... Graduate job vacancies in the UK have fallen to their lowest level since records began a decade ago. Recruitment site Adzuna says just 8,383 graduate jobs were advertised in July, down 45% on last year, at the same time as a record number of young people prepare to start university. Earlier this year Wales paused new paramedic degree courses at Swansea and Wrexham for 2026/27 because there weren’t enough job opportunities for newly qualified paramedics.
