Port Sunlight

Sunday Worship

Available for 29 days

Sunday Worship comes from the remarkable model village of Port Sunlight on the Wirral. Founded in the late nineteenth century by soap manufacturer William Hesketh Lever, the village was built to provide good-quality homes and shared spaces for workers, reflecting a vision of industry shaped by faith, dignity and community. In this service, we explore the Christian values that helped inspire Port Sunlight's founding, giving thanks for its enduring legacy and reflecting on what it means to build communities rooted in care, hope and the common good. The service comes from Christ Church in the village, and is led by the Minister, Rev Ian Smith. Producer: Andrew Earis
