From Chic to Elton John, Isaac Hayes to Stevie Nicks,and Etta James to Rick James, there's something for everyone in this 2-hour special. Spoony plays 'Amen Brother' by The Winstons - widely regarded as the most sampled recording of all time, having appeared in over 6000 tracks - and shows how Goldie took the 'Amen Break' drum sample one step further for 'Inner City Life' by chopping and layering into a rolling, atmospheric rhythm, softening its edges to suit the track’s soulful, cinematic feel. Listen out for some beautiful blends of original tracks merging into their sampled selves, such as Dionne Warwick's 'Walk on By' into Doja Cat's 'Paint The Town Red', Vera Hall's 'Troubled So Hard' into 'Natural Blues' by Moby and 'Think (About It) by Lyn Collins into 'It Takes Two' by Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock.
