Normanton man Alistair McKenzie was the architect for the Augusta National course, which plays host the The Masters. A competition won by Rory McIlroy in 2025 and one of the most famous courses in the world. But Alistair also designed many of the courses around Leeds. The BBC’s Jess Bayley has been to find out more with Jonathan Gaunt, a golf course architect and committee member of the Alistair MacKenzie society.
