Why is the Cast icon not showing on the Sounds mobile app?

We're aware that casting from the Sounds app isn't currently available on Android 17 devices. The Cast icon doesn't show.

We are investigating and will update this page when we know more.

In the meantime, affected users can cast by pulling down from the top of their screen to access the Cast icon, and choosing to cast the BBC Sounds app.
