The People Have Spoken

Available for booking

The People Have Spoken, but what will they say? A new topical comedy series has landed on BBC Radio 4, hosted by Ian Smith (The News Quiz, Live at the Apollo), and we're taking the temperature of the nation in silly season.

Join us for this recording for a chance to be part of our audience/focus group. Ian and a coterie of comedian friends will be talking the big questions of the week, and posing some to the audience.

Have you ever tried to nick your boss' job? Written a resignation letter that slags off your whole team? Or worn shorts that are a bit too short when on a run? Then we want to hear from you.

Expect laughs, insight, and bewilderment at the state of the world.

How to be in the audience

Step 1: Apply for tickets

Tickets for this show are being allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so when we receive your ticket request your details are added to the list of applicants. Tickets are usually dispatched from approximately three weeks ahead of the recording date.

Step 2: Receive a message

All eligible requests are allocated tickets in the order they are received, up to the maximum number of available tickets. If successful, we notify you by text message and send your e-ticket(s) to your email address. If unsuccessful you will be kept on the waiting list in case anyone cancels their tickets.

Step 3: Bring your tickets and ID

We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people. Remember that every guest must bring original approved photo ID.
