Strictly Come Dancing 2026: Terms and Conditions

Allocation Information
- Because we know how far people travel to see Strictly, tickets will be allocated a little earlier than for the majority of our shows to allow those who are successful in the random draw time to make travel and accommodation plans. Tickets will be sent to the email address that was provided at the point of application. We will continue to allocate any returned tickets right up to the week of the recording.
- All successful ticket holders will be chosen at random.
- Receipt of tickets means guaranteed admission on the day, providing you arrive at the time stated on your tickets.
- If you are successful in the random draw you will receive a text message notifying you that tickets are being sent by email. Please check your spam folders and ensure that BBC Shows and Tours (bbcshowsandtours@shows.bbc.co.uk) is a safe email address in your email account. More information can be found on our BBC Shows FAQs.
- If your ticket application is unsuccessful you will be notified by email. Unsuccessful emails are sent for each show date individually, so if you applied for more than one recording date you will receive separate emails for each date. Please ensure BBC Shows and Tours (bbcshowsandtours@shows.bbc.co.uk) is a safe address in your email account (whitelisted).
- Additional information will be sent to successful ticket applicants ahead of the recording. Please ensure BBC Shows and Tours (bbcshowsandtours@shows.bbc.co.uk) is a safe address in your email account (whitelisted) to make sure you receive all our email communications. You can find guidance on our Information for ticket holders page.
- If you are allocated tickets but are unable to attend for any reason, please cancel your tickets via the unique cancellation link on your ticket.
- If you are successful in the random draw, the date you are allocated is strictly non-transferable.
- Tickets cannot be transferred to another person. The named ticket holder must be in attendance on the day.
- Should there be any cancellations, tickets will be redistributed by random draw to those on the waiting list, up to the day before the show.
- Please see our BBC Shows FAQs for more information about our ticketing process.
Application Terms and Conditions - Professional Dancers Pre-Records and Launch Show
- The random draw for the Professional Dancers Pre-Records (Wednesday 26 August, Sunday 30 August, Monday 3 September and Thursday 4 September) and Launch Show (Wednesday 9 September) closes at 10pm on Tuesday 4 August. No applications will be accepted after this date and time.
- Only requests for two tickets will be accepted.
- Duplicate applications for the same date will be disregarded and if successful you will only receive tickets for one date.
- Only apply if you are intending to be the named ticket holder. Once tickets are dispatched the name on the ticket cannot be changed and must match the approved ID on the day.
- Only apply for dates you can attend as once allocated tickets cannot be transferred to a different date.
- Tickets for the main series will be allocated in a separate random draw. If your application for tickets to one of the Pre-Records or the Launch Show is successful this will not preclude you from entering the random draw for tickets for the main live shows.
- BBC Shows will not be held responsible for the non-receipt of tickets or related information. Please make BBC Shows and Tours (bbcshowsandtours@shows.bbc.co.uk) a safe email address in your email account and enter your contact details carefully. More information can be found on our BBC Shows FAQs.
- Any accessibility requirements must be entered at point of application and cannot be added once tickets have been allocated.
- All attendees must be over the age of 14 (anyone aged 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ at all times).
