Welcome to the nomination form for The BBC Radio Ulster Food Hero Award in the BBC Food & Farming Awards 2026.

A brand new category launched by Your Place and Mine, This Award celebrates those who champion the best local produce across Northern Ireland with a strong connection to their community. Whether it’s farmers in Fermanagh, artisans in Armagh or the finest dairy in Down, if you know an individual producer or social enterprise across any of the six counties of Northern Ireland, tell us about the passionate future facing people providing high quality, home grown, seasonal food in their area that speaks to the unique flavour of Northern Ireland.

Nominations can be made from 6am on Friday 22 May 2026 until the closing date of Monday 15 June 2026 at 12.00pm.
