At least fifty bodies found after armed gangs attack in Benue State, Nigeria
At least fifty bodies have been found after an attack by armed gangs in a village in Benue State, Nigeria. Searches continue for those that are still believed to be missing.
There are rising tensions in Ethiopia over attempts to disarm the Amhara Special Forces (ASF), a paramilitary force that was heavily involved in the country’s two year civil war.
And, the United Nations says more than thirty people have been killed in the DRC's Ituri province. The rebel group affiliated with the Islamic State jihadist group the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), has been blamed.
