Zambian ranger receives global award for conservation

He has played a crucial role in developing anti-poaching operations in the region, for over 35 years.

We hear from Neddy Mulimo, a ranger from Zambia, who has been working for over 30 years to protect Zambia’s wildlife. He is this year’s recipient of ‘the Tusk Wildlife Ranger’ award.

Thousands in eastern DRC have taken part in anti-Rwanda protests to denounce Rwanda’s alleged support of M23 rebels. The protests come as the rebel group has seized two towns in the DRC’s east.
