Trials of a new malaria vaccine show promising results

Scientists at Oxford University say they have developed a malaria vaccine with an 80% success rate.

A malaria vaccine with "world-changing" potential has been developed by scientists at the University of Oxford, in the UK. Trials involving more than 400 children in Burkina Faso showed that it offers up to 80% protection against the disease.

We have a report from Nigeria’s sprawling coastal city, Lagos, which experts say is becoming more and more vulnerable to rising sea levels caused by the effects of climate change.
