
Resurgence of clashes in Ethiopia’s Tigray war
Fighting between the government and Tigray forces has continued in northern Ethiopia despite UN calls for a ceasefire.
Fighting has continued into its third day in northern Ethiopia, as clashes between the government and Tigrayan forces are reignited.
Also in Angola, the vote counting is about to close after the general elections. Early results suggest the governing MPLA party, which has led the country for close to five decades, will extend its rule.
