Ethiopia ready for talks with TPLF without ‘preconditions’

Ethiopia says it is ready to start talks with the Tigrayan rebels in a bid to end the bloody civil war.

A senior government official has said Ethiopia is ready to negotiate with the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) without pre-conditions, in a bid to end the civil war that started in November 2020.
