A Catholic priest who was abducted by gunmen in the northern Nigerian state of Kaduna has been shot dead by his captors.

Plus, Police in Malawi have used tear gas to disperse a protest staged by a group called the Human Rights Ambassadors, in the Capital Lilongwe. They’re protesting against what they call “selective justice” by the government in dealing with corrupt officials.
