Ugandan army denies training Tigrayan forces

The army in Uganda has denied reports that it is attempting to destabilise Ethiopia by training and providing support to the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF), which has been at war with the Ethiopian government since 2020.

A South African town is racing against time to prevent taps from running dry, as it faces ‘Day Zero’ of a water supply crisis.

And Ghana turns to the IMF for assistance, after previously stating it could resolve its economic crisis without the help of the international body.
