The two-day meeting will look at climate change, poverty and food insecurity.
The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and the Kigali summit, were originally planned to be held in 2020 but were twice delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. President Paul Kagame made the opening speech with UK prime Minister Boris Johnson also in attendance.
