
Congolese hero's gold-capped tooth is returned
Patrice Lumumba’s tooth was handed over at a ceremony in Brussels, more than 60 years after he was assassinated.
Belgian authorities have returned a tooth of the murdered Congolese independence hero, Patrice Lumumba, to his family. The gold-cap tooth was all that remained after his body was hacked to pieces and dissolved in acid.
Police in Sierra Leone have been accused of inhumane treatment, torture and degrading treatment of popular musician Boss LAJ, who was arrested a week ago on allegations of robbery.
