Belgium’s King Philippe visits DR Congo for the first time since ascending to the throne in 2013
Belgium’s King Philippe and Queen Mathilde have begun an official visit to DR Congo. It comes two years after the king expressed regret for the monarchy's colonial record in the DRC.
The date has now been set for this year's presidential and legislative elections in Angola. Fourteen million registered voters will go to the polls on 24 August.
Plus, a report from the volatile Marsabit County in Northern Kenya, where ethnic violence and targeted killings have resulted in the deaths of dozens of people in recent months.
