Dozens of presidential candidates including the incumbent, President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, are standing in Somalia’s May 15 election.

Somalia’s President Mohamed Abdulahi Mohammed - also known as Farmajo - will stand again as a presidential candidate, alongside dozens of other hopefuls who have entered the presidential race. Members of Somalia’ s lower and upper houses of parliament are due to elect the next president on 15 May.
