Young Ethiopian men offer to fight for Russia

For the second day running dozens of young Ethiopian men are reported to have gathered in front of the Russian embassy in the capital Addis Ababa following rumours that circulated that soldiers were being recruited to take part in the war in Ukraine.

And, the World Food Programme warns that people at risk from hunger could rise from fourteen to twenty million in the drought-stricken Horn of Africa.
