South Sudan forces withdraw from VP Machar's home

South Sudanese security forces on Monday morning withdrew from First Vice-President Riek Machar's residence in the capital, Juba, his office has told the BBC.

Hundreds of Congolese have fled into Uganda following rebel attacks on their homes. Officials in North Kivu province said M23 fighters stormed Tchanzu and Runyoni villages.
