Sudan: Protesters call for dissolution of interim government

Protesters say the government has failed to institute political and economic reforms

Sudan's cabinet will hold an extraordinary meeting today amid an escalating political row between factions of the ruling Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC).

Exiled former Gambian President Yahya Jammeh rejects President Adama Barrow’s offer of a political coalition with his Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC) party.

And opposition candidate and former Prime Minister of Cape Verde Jose Maria Neves has won the country's presidential election beating his main rival, the ruling party candidate Carlos Veiga.
