Tunisia and Libya face rising political tensions: in Tunisia, it is still unclear which direction the President wants to take after assuming extraordinary powers following his own decision to dissolve Parliament in July. In Libya, the government of newly elected Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh takes a hit, as the House of Representatives - chaired by warlord Khalifa Haftar's political ally Akile Salih - withdraws its confidence in the executive.
