
Tigray: ‘Dozens killed’ in market air strike
Ethiopian forces have carried out an air strike on a market in Togoga in Tigray province, where fighting between federal troops and the TPLF continues.
An air strike carried out by Ethiopian federal forces has reportedly hit a market, killing dozens of people in the town of Togoga in Tigray. Medical staff say soldiers then prevented a convoy of ambulances from reaching the site. The Ethiopian military denies bombing civilians, saying it carried out the strikes to neutralise what it described as terrorists. Fighting continues in the province between federal troops and the TPLF.
