Morocco’s parliament has voted to approve a law legalising the use of cannabis for medicinal and industrial – but not recreational purposes.
Morocco’s parliament has voted to approve a law legalising the use of cannabis for medicinal and industrial – but not recreational purposes. The country is a huge producer of cannabis, and is hoping the move will improve economic opportunities in deprived rural areas, where criminal gangs often prey on vulnerable farmers.
