Kenya's president under fire for rejecting judges

President Uhuru Kenyatta's refusal to confirm the appointment of six judges has been described as unconstitutional.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has been criticised for blocking the appointment of six judges, two of whom were involved in a recent high court case in which Mr Kenyatta's bid to amend the constitution was declared illegal.

Plus the international organisation Médecins Sans Frontières, warns that rising violence in Nigeria’s north-west Zamfara state is now causing a humanitarian crisis.
