South Sudan: ‘Courageous decisions need to be made’

The new UN Special Representative to South Sudan, Nicholas Haysom, has called on all stakeholders in the peace process to recommit to it. He was speaking to reporters for the first time since taking up the post a month ago.

In the DRC concerns have been growing over a looming humanitarian catastrophe following the eruption of Mount Nyiragongo.
