Nigeria: Boys missing after gunmen raid school

A local official in north-central Nigeria’s Niger state added that staff of the school and some members of their families were also among the kidnapped.

Maalim Seif Sharif Hamad, the first vice-president of Tanzania’s semi-autonomous islands of Zanzibar, has died at the age of 77.

He had been receiving treatment at Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam after contracting coronavirus.
