Libyan politicians elect new government.

Abdul Hamid Mohammed Dbeibah has been elected as the Prime Minister of Libya’s new transitional government whose task is to prepare for the country’s national elections later this year.

The Supreme court in Burundi has given life sentences to some former army generals, politicians, journalists and human rights activists who were found guilty of involvement in a foiled coup in 2015.
