South Africa's human rights campaigner George Bizos has died

South African Human Rights Advocate George Bizos has died. He was part of the legal team that represented accused persons in the Rivonia trial, including Nelson Mandela in the 1960’s. He has been at the forefront of legal challenges to injustice since the fifties.

Amnesty International accuse Mozambique army of committing serious human rights abuses against men in the province of Cabo Delgado, where an insurgency has been underway for the last three years.

Kenya government curiously transfer the managing of the nation's meat processing factory from the ministry of livestock to the military.
