A quarter of births worldwide goes unregistered, UNICEF

UNICEF's Mohammed Fall says a new report has found that one in four children worldwide are not legally recorded at birth and most of them are in Africa.

al-Shabab has claimed responsibility for an attack carried out at a hotel compound on Tuesday night that killed ten people. The gunmen accessed the venue despite it being located in a high-security area near the presidential palace.
