Zimbabwe: Constitutional court bans caning

Zimbabwe’s constitutional court has outlawed judicial corporal punishment with immediate effect, after a nine member bench ruled that caning was a degrading punishment;

The prime minister of Belgium, Charles Michel, has apologised on behalf of the Belgian state for the injustices it inflicted on thousands of mixed-race children born during the country's colonial rule of Burundi, Congo and Rwanda;

And it's 25 years since Rwanda's genocide - which saw over 800,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus murdered.
