Dozens of English-speaking activists in Cameroon were freed by presidential order in a move aimed at restoring calm in minority regions.
Plus pressure mounts on Kenya’s electoral commission to set a date for fresh elections, and still in Kenya, at least seven students are reported to have died in a dormitory fire overnight at a girls' school in the capital Nairobi.
