Ahead of the prosecution opening speech, Mat and Michelle speak to Barrister Kirsty Brimelow-KC, who is chair of the Bar Council about delays in getting prisoners to court.
The trial will follow a husband from Stockport accused of drugging and raping his wife, and 12 other men alleged to have sexually abused the victimÂ
The husband and the 12 other co-defendants – who all deny the charges - will stand trial at the same time, at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court.
One man has already pleaded guilty to all charges he faced.
