Billy delivers food to people sleeping rough

Billy Shannon from Portsmouth has spent the past eight years supporting people sleeping rough across the city. Whatever the weather, he cooks and delivers hot meals and essentials directly to those who need them most.
His incredible kindness has earned him a place as a finalist in the Volunteer category at the BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards 2026.
