Peter Dixon’s 214 Wainwrights challenge in memory of his wife

BBC Philharmonic cellist Peter Dixon is completing all 214 Wainwrights in memory of his wife Clara, who died from oesophageal cancer in 2023. He discusses the three-year challenge, leaving pebbles in her memory at each summit, and raising more than £26,000 for Heartburn Cancer UK.
