Second chances are on the menu at Café 16
A café in the heart of Newcastle is celebrating five years of helping people rebuild their lives after prison. Café 16 is based inside Newcastle Cathedral and run in partnership with The Oswin Project who offer training and employment opportunities to people with experience of the criminal justice system. Michael Poulter called in to chat with Assistant Manager Fraser, Catering Operations Manager Clare Guiney, and Fiona Sample, CEO of The Oswin Project, who explained why Café 16 was set up.
