'I'm living testament that transplants work'
A new appeal has launched to try get one million people to register their decision on the NHS Organ Donor Register before the end of the year.
Currently 3.6m people in the North East and Yorkshire have already registered to donate their organs after death.
Amy Oakden spoke 39 year old Emma Thompson from Stokesley who had a heart transplant in 1990 at the age of just three years old.
