"Maddie is the perfect candidate for Strictly"

Maddie Ingoldsby, from Bournemouth, is one of five new dancers to join Strictly Come Dancing's roster of professionals.

The UK National Ballroom Champion and eight-time Amateur 10-Dance World Champion, started her career in the West End cast of Annie and made her television debut on Strictly: It Takes Two.

Maddie danced at Nice n Easy Dance Studios in Bournemouth alongside partner Mark Chilcote. Mark told BBC Radio Solent's Steve Harris that Maddie was cut-out precisely for the spotlight of Strictly.
