World number ones' Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka were both winners in straight sets, but both also dealt with complications.

French Open champion Mirra Andreeva was the biggest name to fall - she was beaten by 2024 champion Barbora Krejcikova in an emotional 3-set thriller.

And Dan Evans took to the court for the last time after losing in the men's doubles, but he's still not happy at not receiving a singles wildcard.
