The Gaudi of Norfolk
Architect George Skipper helped put Cromer on the map.
In the Victorian era, Cromer was the place to visit.
In an incredibly short space of time, railways, roads and hotels were built to keep up with demand.
One of the men behind all of that was architect George Skipper.
Norfolk born and bred, we can still see his design style across Cromer and Norfolk more widely.
Emma Craig went to Cromer to find out about his life and his work.
